Yakiniku Hibiki, a Japanese BBQ restaurant located inside Sunshine Plaza, is currently hiring Casual Hall Staff, Cooks, and Kitchen Hands. We are looking for hardworking and reliable people to join our team.

Hall Staff Duties

• Serving food and drinks

• Cleaning and organizing tables

• Customer service and general front-of-house duties

• If you have an RSA, you may also assist with bar duties

Most of our customers are foreigners, so Intermediate-level English is preferred. However, if you can manage basic conversation and listening, you are welcome to apply.

Cook Duties

• Working in either the salad section or hot food section

• Preparing lunch menu items

• Frying, making salads, preparing sauces

• Ingredient preparation and cleaning

Speaking English is not very important, but you must be able to read English, since all order tickets and instructions are written in English.

Kitchen Hand Duties

• Dishwashing

• Ingredient preparation

• Cleaning

• Making sauces

Work Environment

Our restaurant can be very busy, so teamwork is important. We are looking for someone who can multitask and stay positive and focused even during busy and stressful service times.

Pay

• Casual hourly rate starting from $30.35

• Pay may be adjusted later depending on experience and performance
